Open Arms accommodates residents from many locales, but primarily come from Rockland, Orange and Westchester Counties in New York. Our in-house ages range from 18 to 65.
Open Arms has facilities for both men and women, and we are an ethnically diverse agency. Our residents come from all walks of life, from lawyers to teachers, to laborers and housewives, artists and entertainers, and professionals in many different fields.
Open Arms provides a safe, clean, gender-separate, home-style atmosphere, with professionally licensed CASAC supervisors and other trained counselors on premise around the clock. Meals are provided and fees are based on the ability to pay. Residents are assigned daily responsibilities and participate in housing decisions. Open Arms goal is to help residents attain a long-term sober life style, self-management, and with it self-respect. Thousands of men and women have transformed their lives here.
Our residents come from many sources, the primary one being a face to face individual screening from a referral source, including inpatient and outpatient treatment programs, other sober houses, residential treatment programs, or from the community. To be accepted at the Open Arms recovery houses the person must be sober and medically stable.
To find out if you or a loved one could benefit from the services offered by Open Arms we invite you to contact our staff or your treatment counselor.
