At Open Arms a structured environment is maintained and 24 hour/ seven day a week support is provided to all residents, with round the clock staffing at both the men’s and women’s community residences.
Scheduled recreation groups help residents identify healthy sober activities as an important part of sobriety and clean living.
Open Arms provides individual and group counseling by professional and trained staff. Residents have the opportunity to learn Life Skills and are assisted in a Job Search when applicable.
Daily Morning and Meditation groups help to set a healthy tone and point of reference for the day for our residents.
Open Arms provides weekly in-house Relapse Prevention groups, giving additional sober support and education to our residents.
Monthly Nutritional Groups are provided by the Food Bank of the Hudson Valley, to educate residents on the importance of nutritional health, as well as cost effective healthy-based meals.
Smoking Cessation groups are available to our residents to help them identify healthy coping skills while working toward smoking cessation, and long-range health benefits.
Residents receive gender specific Health Education provided by an outside agency.
AA Meetings are provided both on site and off campus. Transportation is provided when possible.
